OPTIMAL EULER ANGLES


Optimal rotation matrix of octahedron coinsides with Mersenne matrix R=M3 and describes figure with minimal shadows on all three axis. Euler angles (heading, attitude and bank) reflect the best turn of a target. This geometrical task is generalised by maximal determinant matrices with entries on the unit disk.
